SynthJacker is an innovative autosampler for iOS devices. Its functionality includes playing back a specified MIDI sequence with customized notes and velocities, recording the outcome as an audio file, followed by the automatic segmentation of the audio into individual sample files for seamless integration into any preferred iOS sampler application.

One of its key features is the support for both internal instrument Audio Units (AUv3) and external hardware synths. Additionally, users have the option to export a MIDI file containing the desired notes and subsequently record a synthesizer performing it live before utilizing SynthJacker for further slicing.

Furthermore, the application offers the capability to save presets of sampling sessions with parameters such as note range, velocity layers, and note durations. It is also equipped with post-processing functionalities enabling users to trim silence or normalize sample levels.

Another notable feature is that SynthJacker automatically assigns names to sample files based on note and velocity information, facilitating easy automapping by sampler apps. Moreover, it generates an SFZ file containing detailed sample information presented as regions along with their respective root keys and velocity mapping. Users can access the results conveniently via the iOS Files app in the dedicated SynthJacker folder on their device.
